1910822225317705 | Larissa Martin | The current FCC regulatory scheme known as "Title II" represents an unprecedented increase in government control over the internet. Such over-regulation is hurting our economy and suffocating innovation.
I support Chairman Pai's plan to return to a commonsense regulatory framework that allows for the internet to grow without useless government interference. The internet has flourished for decades without the heavy hand of government over-regulation. Its time we return to what works. |

10509299051956 | Eric Musall | Net neutrality is vital and should be protected no matter what. Eliminating this protection serves no one except the corporate interests of ISPs; it does not benefit the American public in any way. Please reject this greed-motivated undermining of valid policy. |
10525707205057 | Chappell Rocher | Allowing broadband providers to throttle their service is unfair business practive. Weakening protections for consumers for the sake of big business is foolish and a countrer to the FCC's mandate. This proposal clearly gets rid of net neutrality. I am opposed to this. Save net neutrality and protect consumers. |
105080117523274 | Dan Milliron | I support internet neutrality under Title II. I do not trust the ISPs, who are beholden first to their shareholders, to be conscientious about neutrality on their own. Therefore Title II is the appropriate section for their regulation. |

10509666127166 | Maxwell Flynn | I am a student in the Information Technology field. And I am worried that loosening regulations on ISP's would negatively affect my experience on the internet and make my future business more difficult and expensive to run. Net neutrality is very important to me and I believe that the future of the internet depends on its continued existence and integrity. |
1910901902503959 | Beau | If net neutrality ends, it will only benefit a couple thousand people out of the millions who depend on it. There shouldn't even be a discussion about it. But Comcast, Verizon and AT&T want to profit off of something that was already free to use. |

10714300600441 | Sirajah Raheem | I was listening to a radio segment on how the Chinese government censors the internet depriving their people of easy access to accurate information about current events. And I was reminded of this. Does it matter whether a corporation does it for monetary gain vs a government doing it control the public? Nope. Same results and very similar intentions. Allowing corporations to control the flow of information to the populace is dangerous and undemocratic. I worry that we'll allow corporate greed to ruin the absolute best invention of our time. |

10713266284454 | net neutrality | Internet being a staple in our everyday lives, it has become very important to me. It allowed me to learn about the different communities and people outside of my own while keeping those who may be far physically close. Not having to worry about having my internet access restricted allows me to always be able to reach out to the ones I love the most when I want. |

10830222941333 | Ron Wilson | The most important reason for net neutrality is diversity of content, In the neighborhood I live in, the only real Internet provider is Comcast. Comcast owns NBC and Universal, so is highly motivated to promote their content, and to prioritize it above content from other content providers. The other major ISPs have their own content production. Also, in my neighborhood, while AT&T and WOW offer limited service, it is much slower and has much greater latency than Comcast's service. Comcast knows this, so has no incentive to offer competitive rates. Further, Comcast is big enough to be its own back-bone provider, while Verizon recently acquired L3, one of the major back-bone providers. The ISPs are already building "walled gardens" like the old AOL and CompuServe online services from many years ago. Taking away the neutrality rules will allow them to accelerate those efforts. Even in areas where people have 2 (or more) equal service providers, there will still be no motivation for real competition. Each service will offer it's own set of content, knowing that switching ISP will require customers loosing access to one group of content not carried by the other providers. If customers want more different content sources, they will be forced to get service from more than one ISP. The ISPs all know this and all want this. And in areas with only one real ISP, other ISPs will have little or no incentive to expend into because they know that no matter how low their rates are, any customers that might switch would be forced to give up content they are used to having. |
1910801752718042 | Tim | Hello,\n\nPlease ensure that Net neutrality is maintained. The internet is one of very few places that allows equal footing. I would be saddened if that were to change. I do not want the current restrictions on ISPs to be changed in the way it is currently proposed.\n\n-Tim\r\nTim |
1122273930099 | Johan Jaenisch | I’m registering a complaint because I believe repealing won’t neutrality will hurt small businesses, academic researchers, and the poor. It would stifle internet access for rural communities and block cultural exchange and sharing of information. Its removal allows for corporations to control and monitor the flow of information and decide who the winners and losers of media are, while ensuring an even more isolated partisan media sources occupying very discrete parts of the political spectrum. Repealing net neutrality will hurt America and that is why I am registering this complaint. |
10508014937931 | Joel Heath | The numerous examples of anti-competitive behavior by telecom companies with regard to prioritizing some Internet traffic based on financial incentives should be enough to convince anyone of the necessity of Net Neutrality. It is naive to expect that publicly-traded, for-profit corporations will do what is in the best interests of the wider Internet community rather than seek profits for their shareholders. The purpose of government and regular is to do what the market cannot or will not. This is such a case.
Please preserve the Title 2 designation for Internet Service Providers and the Net Neutrality rules that keep the marketplace competitive rather than tipping the scales in favor of those who can pay the most. |
108200824304399 | Leonard Finch | The principles of net neutrality are critical to providing our young people with a 21st century education, maintaining our country’s competitive edge in the workforce, and offering a venue for free speech that is a calling card of our and any democracy. |
